Something Beautiful CD

My very first concert was Madonna, with the legendary Jonathan Moffett (aka “Sugarfoot”) on drums. A decade and a half later, Jonathan played drums for my album!
Something Beautiful is entirely acoustic, with instrumentation falling between a rock band and a Broadway musical.
I’ve never worked so hard or spent so much money on an album. Most of my catalog is a solo affair, but for this one, I assembled a team of six musicians and three engineers working across three studios.
Scoring and writing out individual parts for violin I and II, viola, cello, fretless bass, harp, flute, drums, piano, and vibraphone was a monumental effort that reminded me why I love electronic music so much!
While I’m proud of the result, I decided not to publish the album on streaming services because it sounds so different than the rest of my catalog. Maybe someday I’ll release it under my own name.
