I’m now about halfway through the Ableton Live manual. This is taking way longer than I anticipated, considering that I started back in May!
Here are three new song snippets I made to reinforce my learning. The first one uses a small section of the backup vocals I recorded last week for a 907Britt song, “Continental Divide.” Obviously they’ve been mutilated beyond recognition.
I’ll continue making snippets until I finish the manual. I’d love to end up with as many as 40, but I can probably get away with half of that. Then I’ll piece together our favorites into larger song structures, adding piano. Live makes it easy to mix and match raw materials into any project, regardless of key or tempo.

Yeah, I ‘m not sure that I understood what you are saying fully. But, it sounds cool. I really like filtered blues too!
Thanks?
You may not be able to decipher it, but it’s two long held notes: “fly” and “drive.” There’s some randomness involved to the choppy pattern, so if I rendered it again, it would sound different.
I especially like the third one. Your voice fits well with the synths when it’s all chopped up….. err, and also when it’s not… I meant that in a good way.
