I really like the ‘Novelty has infinite charms” lyric, also the too close theme. The vibe of the song and the lyrics are contradictory, on purpose I know, but the verses are a little flippant too? Im a little confused, but maybe thats just me.

This is beautiful! I like this verse, the second line is a great compliment:

“I broke out in laughter when you told me that
Being with me is like being alone
But I knew you meant it as a compliment
This is what it means to be home”
