We did it! Thanks to your overwhelming support, “If It’s My Time To Go” took the Lennon Award in the second phase of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. I’ll receive $1,000 in equipment and a 1,000 CD manufacturing package from Disc Makers as prizes. Guess I’d better start recording new material! The song will go on to compete against the eleven other Lennon Award winners for the Maxell Song of the Year and $20,000. Don’t worry – the only people voting will be the judges! They’ll announce the winner in July.
