It’s “I Stand By My Mistakes” from The Thought Chapter. He likes that my wife Michelle sings it with me. I suppose it’s technically a duet. If he harbors any cognitive dissonance due to the melancholy nature of the lyrics, I don’t detect it. My songs aren’t meant to be autobiographical anyway, so don’t read too much into it. This one is light on synths, being one of the handful of CT songs to feature guitars. One doesn’t have to be an electronic music fan to appreciate it.
